I don't know if I can express myself adequately enough to convey exactly how brilliant I think this is from start to finish. In a fandom where the calibre of the writing is superlative, this stands out above all the rest. It's perfection. The dialogue was just effortless and flowed so beautifully. It was elegantly written and you have a deftness of touch which makes complex ideas comprehensible. Your characterisations are even better than canon, if that's possible - more subtle and rounded and so, so real.

Please, please tell me that this amazing gift you have for words is recognised in some capacity by the non-internet world, because a talent like this really, really deserves acknowledgement. It's been a long time since I read anything which has blown me away quite like this did, and even then, it was Neal Stephenson, so you're in the best company *g* I'm just beyond happy that this even exists, so, thank you for being you :)
