It's only apt that you quoted Clive Barker of all people up there. He sure knows how to creep people up too.

I rarely ever felt sorry for Sam. I'm not sure why, even though he has as much of a tragic life as everybody in the show. Maybe cause he reminds me of some intelligent people I know that really really like to rely on their own heads. But this: There was Dean, and then there was without-Dean, and everything that made Sam whole is on the other side of that line now. Made me sympathize with him somewhat, cause it's so Sam.
